The story

Sindur Jatra is Madhyapur Thimi's best-known celebration, held as part of Bisket Jatra on the second day of Baishakh. Male representatives from Thimi and neighbouring villages carry 32 khats around Balkumari Temple while sindur is thrown across the crowd.
